최근에 Netflix에서 '상사에 대처하는 로맨틱한 자세(Set it up)' 이라는 로맨틱 코미디 영화를 보았다. 

워낙 로맨틱 코미디 영화를 좋아해서 예고편을 보자마자 기말고사가 끝나면 이 영화를 꼭 보리라 생각했었는데, 

기대 이상으로 정말 재미있었다. 현대사회의 시대상까지 잘 반영한 2018년 대표 웰메이드 로맨틱 코미디영화라고 말하고 싶다.  

여자 주인공과 남자 주인공이 처음으로 서로에 대한 감정을 확인하게 되는 파티에서 이 음악이 흘러나온다.  

첫 소절을 듣자마자 보던 영화를 멈추고, 음악 제목부터 메모했다. 

Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm yours. 

무엇보다 노래 제목이 너무 마음에 들었다. 

서명하고, 봉인해서 당신에게 전달해요. 저는 당신의 것입니다. 

핸드폰 문자, 이메일, 채팅어플이 생기면서 연필이나 펜을 잡는 시간이 줄어든 지금에도 연인들은 여전히 서로에게 편지를 한다. 

진심을 꾹꾹 눌러담아 한글자 한글자 천천히 써내린 손편지만큼 자신의 마음의 잘 표현하는 방법은 없다. 

사랑이 담긴 손편지처럼 당신에게 나를 sign, seal, deliver 합니다. 이보다 사랑스러운 고백이 있을까.

Stevie Wonder는 Superstition, Isn't she lovely, I just called to say I love you 등 수많은 명곡을 탄생시켰다. 

그중에서도 내가 가장 좋아하는 곡은 If you really love me, 그리고 You are the sunshine of my life.
